Flexible Containment – Containment Berms

A flexible containment berm is a portable secondary-containment system designed to capture leaks, drips, spills, washout water, and other liquids around vehicles, equipment, tanks, drums, and industrial processes.

Selection depends on the size of the equipment or container, the required containment capacity, how frequently vehicles must enter the berm, the liquid being contained, and whether the system will be used temporarily or permanently.

Foam-wall berms use flexible foam supports that compress when vehicles or equipment pass over them and return to position afterward. Bracket-wall berms use rigid or collapsible supports to hold the sidewalls upright and may provide a more defined containment perimeter.

The Ultimate Model is designed for applications requiring frequent vehicle entry and exit. Its living-hinge wall design allows vehicles to drive through without workers manually raising or lowering the endwalls.

Ground tarps and track belts help protect the underside and drive-over areas of a containment berm from sharp debris, rough pavement, gravel, vehicle tires, and equipment tracks. They can help extend the service life of the berm.

The Ultra-Hose Stand supports hoses above the berm sidewall. This reduces pressure and abrasion on the wall, helps prevent damage, and allows the berm to maintain its full containment capacity.
