Typical Configurations
DockStar Driver Access Cages, also known as Man Traps, provide secure entry control for your facility. Typically constructed as three-sided cages adjoining an exterior wall with an entry door, these cages utilize our robust Style 840 Wire Partition System. The heavy 10-gauge wire woven into a 2″ x 1″ rectangular mesh ensures strength and security suitable for any industrial application. Available in sizes ranging from 6′ x 6′ to 8′ x 8′ and configurable in one-foot increments, DockStar can customize a cage to fit your exact needs. These cages commonly feature a service window with a shelf for signing paperwork and a hinged pedestrian door. The door can be equipped with a full-width push bar on the factory floor side for easy employee egress, particularly in emergencies. A standard key lock on the inside of the cage prevents driver access beyond the designated area, while keeping visitors securely contained within the cage.
