Low-profile, modular spill decks enable you to design and create a spill containment system tailored to your specific needs. Traditional spill containment products for drums were initially tall to meet the gallon capacity required by EPA regulations. Many pallets today remain relatively tall, with 4-drum models being about 12-14 inches high and 2-drum models approximately 16-17 inches high. While this height is not a concern for applications where drums are rarely moved or are simply stored until needed, it can become problematic in situations where drums are frequently moved on and off the pallets. Additionally, taller spill pallets can raise the tops of drums to eye level, posing a risk when hazardous materials are being poured into or dispensed from them. Ultra-Spill Decks, with their very low profile of 5 3/4 inches, make drum handling much easier and reduce the risk of spills or splashes reaching eye level.
