SLIDE-Effect®
The SLIDE-effect® dock bumper absorbs the impact of trailer after trailer reversing into its dock position, and features a built-in sliding mechanism to limit the effect friction and abrasion have on the bumper’s life.
As a trailer being loaded moves up and down with the weight of the forklift, the SLIDE-effect® truck loading dock bumper moves with the trailer without abrasion or wear.

Maintenance
The last bumper you will ever have to install!!
SLIDE-effect® Bumpers are installed with a permanent wall bracket and require little maintenance. Still, the day will come, so look to replace the bumper only once the aluminum track system has worn thin or when the bumper is no longer sliding up and down during the loading operation. Extend the life of your dock equipment and reduce service calls.

Material & Specifications
- High-density, extra-thick rubber bumper
- Removeable/replaceable Bumper Assembly with inset aluminum track.
- Spring housed in a reinforced channel within the mounting plate to protect the spring from impacts and wear for improved performance.
- Bumper is fastened to dock surface with 1/4” (6.5mm) steel angles and/or flat plates depending on the model chosen.
- Wall mounting hole size is 7/8” (22mm) diameter.
- All mounting plates come with a lifetime warranty.
Installation styles available
- All models are 11” (279mm) wide (centerline of anchor holes) and 20” (508mm) high with 4.75” (120mm) projection. Optional tilt bracket increases the projection to 6.5” (165mm).
- Vertical protection only. Standard Model: Angles both sides for anchoring.
- P1 Style: Angle one side for anchoring, flat plate on the other for welding. Left and right side configurations must be selected.
- P2 Style: Flat plate both sides for welding.
- A Tilt Bracket is available as an option for the bumper base bracket that allows SLIDE-effect® to be angled to match the trailer position in an inclined or declined dock approach application thereby limiting rubber abrasion by traveling at the same angle as the trailer. The bumper assembly must be fully welded to the bracket in the field to achieve the correct angle for your dock.
