A Caljan Performer Function

EXPRESS Snoot is an optional Caljan Performer function that can be fitted to any Caljan Performer telescopic conveyor, regardless of size. This makes it a flexible upgrade for distribution centers and parcel operations looking to improve positioning at the trailer and support faster, more ergonomic handling of loose-loaded parcels and packages.

EXPRESS Snoot can also be retrofitted to a Caljan Performer telescopic conveyor that’s already installed in your facility. For DockStar customers, that means you can enhance reach and workflow performance without replacing your existing conveyor—helping extend equipment value and adapt your dock setup as operational needs evolve.\

Improve Efficiency

When equipment improves the workflow, it becomes easier to move more parcels in the same amount of time. With EXPRESS Snoot, operators spend less time stepping back and forth between the cargo and the telescopic conveyor, so loading and unloading becomes more direct and efficient. Parcels and packages can be handled smoothly for unloading or loading—or both, when the belt direction is reversible, supporting flexible dock processes and faster trailer turnaround.

Positioning is simple: the conveyor is aligned using the appropriate nudge button, allowing quick adjustments with minimal effort. Because less physical work is required to keep product moving and positioned correctly, operators can maintain a steady, consistent pace throughout the shift, improving productivity while supporting better ergonomics in high-volume parcel handling environments.

No Experience Required

Even new or inexperienced associates can quickly learn to operate the Caljan Performer telescopic conveyor with EXPRESS Snoot. The system is designed for straightforward use, with an intuitive control panel that uses clear pictograms to guide belt movement. Large nudge buttons make it easy to position the conveyor—moving it in and out, and up and down—to match the trailer and the cargo flow.

To support safe onboarding and consistent operation, the upward movement function can be locked to help prevent inadvertent lifting until the operator is comfortable with the equipment. This helps DockStar customers train teams faster, reduce operating errors, and maintain safe, productive loading and unloading in high-volume parcel and distribution environments.
